I am so excited - and sad - to be loosing one of my best friends to Japan in September but hopefully I will get to visit. I've had a long obsession with Japan for some strange reason my whole life. It started with trying to learn Japanese symbols when I was ten, learning origami when I was a teenager, becoming obsessed with Harajuku style when I was a teen and learning how to make sushi when I was in my twenties.
To me, seeing Japan is something I really want to do before I get too old to enjoy it. I want to taste real sushi, see the actual fashion, bother some cool people and generally experience the culture of the place. I am really exciting about this!
