We think we can all agree that Ariana Grande has recently adopted a sexier look over those cutesy dresses she used to wear, right? Hey, all artists change it up from time to time and evolve, so no huge surprises that Ariana is leaving her Nickelodeon image behind and moving full-steam ahead.Ariana recently told Attitude that her fashion choices are all her doing and not the result of industry pressure to sex things up. She explained: "I've seen people online saying, 'It's so sad she's becoming a product of this industry - she's wearing shorter and shorter skirts and showing more and more skin'. I'm like, 'Yeah, because I want to.'" Got that? Good.
She added that she's happy with her choices and doesn't care what the haters say, noting: "Believe me, if I don't want to do something I will not do it, and I say that with every ounce of passion in my body. I'm a very flexible person but if I feel like you want me to compromise my views or myself as an artist, you can go f**k yourself."
Ariana is still aware of her audience, saying, "That's something I've been careful about my whole career because I don't want to do something that will shock or upset my younger fans - they're the ones who've been with me since the beginning."
