Gel Effect Nail Polish
Hi guys, today I have a polish swatch and review from Next. I have tried their leather effect polish a while back and it was a good polish. But recently Next have created an amazing range of new polishes, from glitter, cremes and gel effect. When I saw this colour I loved it, but sadly wasn't in stock. As my daughter works for them she was able to buy me one :)
The bottle shape is nice and you get 14ml of polish for £4 or you can buy 3 for 2 which is even better!
Cherry Pie is described as a Gloss Gel Effect and on application it's a jelly polish but such a gorgeous red. Depending on how you like to wear jelly polishes 2 coats would be perfect, but I applied 3 coats. It was nice to apply but drying time was a bit longer than I'd like. I also layered it over a silver glitter holo polish on my ring finger and for that it's truly stunning.
No topcoat and super glossy. Maybe a bit of a deeper red than captured in the photos but a lovely colour, and I will so be using this as a layering polish again. Have you tried any polishes from Next?
