Must we have an endless discussion about this? Anyway, some people are saying that critics were too heavy on Kanye West and his collection, yet some are saying not hard enough.
I mean okay, he is enthusiastic and wants to learn (as Carine Roitfeld pointed out) but lets be honest, you can't just throw a lot of money at the runway and expect things to take care of themselves. You have to go to college, do the starving student thing and learn the basics. To me there is no way around it, college is for learning the skills and tricks you will use in later collections, for developing a style of your own. If you don't, you end up with what happened - ill fitting, non summery clothes on some pretty bored models.
I mean, lets move on....I leave you with the epic words of Anna Wintour when asked about Kanye - this was her response :
“Ask someone else.”
